[訪] 抓住瞬間動感的畫作 Lou @ MyDesyㄇㄞˋ點子

Lou 你好，可否請你向ㄇㄞˋ點子的讀者介紹一下你自己，並且告訴我們你的相關背景，是什麼促使你成為藝術家？

大家好，我是Lou Ros，我是住在巴黎的25歲畫家，我從17歲開始從事很多的塗鴉創作。

1 Please introduce yourself to mydesy readers. Tell us more about your art background and what made you become an artist ?

Hello, my name is Lou Ros, I'm a 25 year old painter and I live in Paris. I started to paint when I was 17 years old because I did a lot of graffiti.

你是如何進入設計領域？而是什麼樣的原因讓你踏入這圈子呢？

我想我可以這麼說，我的繪畫生涯是從塗鴉開始的，因為塗鴉這項創作的藝術壽命不長，而繪畫卻可以讓我的創作留下痕跡。

2: How did you get started in the field ? When did you feel the calling t get into design ad art first time ?

We can say I started to paint on canvas because I was tired of having pictures of my graffiti paintings. Graffiti is a very short lived art and it is important for me to leave a trace.

你的系列創作都非常的獨特並富含著律動，是什麼啓發了你的這系列創作呢？

我不確定我的系列創作是否真的獨特，因為不管是任何的創作形式一定已經被創造出來，但是就如同法國近代哲學思想家 Gilles Deleuze 說的「有沒有人做過不重要，重要的是你打算怎麼做！」就以CORPS&GRAPHIQUEMENT 這系列作品來說，我深受現代舞蹈的啓發。我的母親是名編舞家，因此我從小便埋首在這環境中；而這些舞動的身影便深深的烙印在腦海中，現在的我只是藉由繪畫將它表現出來。

3: Your serie is pretty unique and full of rhythm. Where does the inspiration of this work come from ?

I dont know if my serie is pretty unique because a lot of things are already done in the world of art/painting but as Gilles Deleuze says : it doesn't matter if it's already done, the important part is the way you do it. For the serie CORPS&GRAPHIQUEMENT I was inspired by contemporary dance having been immersed in that environment throughout my childhood, my mother being a choreographer. I have absorbed many of these images as a child and being able to recapture them by painting them allows me to externalize them.

請告訴我們什麼是你創作的關鍵元素與概念？有什麼能激起你的創作慾望？當你在創作時你有覺得更能這更能表現出你自己嗎？

我想我的作品失去了一些創作概念，因為我的創作都是比較直覺的瞬間。在固定與變動的影像關係總是能夠吸引我的注意。在我的創作中，將清楚轉化成模糊以及將固定轉化成動態是一個非常重要的成份。我相當依靠本能再進行創作，下面有些藝術家的表現方式讓我深深地著迷（Francis Bacon, Paul Rebeyrolle, Jenny Saville, Vladimir Velickovic, Cecily Brown）。透過繪畫的色彩，筆觸，構圖，背景和節奏，我試著以不失真的方式去創造出能夠表現出身體在運動中的真實面貌。我像上癮般的想要創作，我想要做更多的繪畫，因為我還是尋找更深層更強力的影像。我依然很渴望創作，因為我相信我還年輕並且可以做出更多有力的作品。

4: What is the main concept and key element in your work ? What makes you to want to create ? Do you see yourself doing more of this kind of work ?

I think I'm missing a little bit of concept in my work, my series of paintings has been really instinctive for the moment.The relationship between the fixed image and movement really interests me. To captivate the eye by transforming the clear into a blur and the fixed into a movement is an active ingredient in my research. I paint in a very instinctive way, following the example of the expressionists who fascinate me (Francis Bacon, Paul Rebeyrolle, Jenny Saville, Vladimir Velickovic, Cecily Brown). Through the colours, brush strokes, composition, background and rhythm of the painting, I attempt to create visuals which truly represent bodies in movement without distortion. I want to create images, it's like an addiction for me. I want to do more paintings because I'm still searching deeper for stronger images. I'm still hungry to create. I'm young and I think I can do more powerfull stuff.

什麼驅使你創作？你覺得是什麼讓繪畫變得特別？

我永遠不滿足於我的創作大概是最能驅使我創作的動力吧。持續的尋找、嘗試更強烈的影像或者更好的構圖，抑或者運用不同的技巧表現，還有很多值得我去嘗試，我也會一直持續下去。

5: What motivates you to paint ? What do you thinks make painting so special ?

My first motivation is that I'm never satisfied of my work. I have to continue to search in different ways, try to do stronger images or a better structure or composition or different technic, there is so much thing to try I'll never stop searching...

至今哪一個系列你讓你覺得備受挑戰的？那挑戰是什麼呢？那你是如何克服這中間的障礙的？

我想我最主要的創作動機是我從來都對我的作品不滿意吧!我必須要持續尋找不同的方向，例如說嘗試著做出一些更強力的影像，或者是更好的結構或者是組成。總是有很多方法可以嘗試，我是不會停止尋找的。

6: What's been your most challenging project so far in your series ? What was challengin you about it ? And how did you overcome those challenges ?

I think I haven't challenged myself yet. My only challenge is to try to do better. I will do some projects with bigger challenges soon.

到目前為止，你覺得最具挑戰性的作品是甚麼?那是甚麼樣的挑戰呢?另外，就是你怎麼克服這些障礙的?

我想我還沒挑戰我自己吧~我唯一的挑戰大概就是試著做得更好。我接下來很快就會去做些更有挑戰性的計畫了。

7: What is your favorite and least favorite thing about art industry ?

My favorite thing about art industry is to discovered and see what other artists can invent. It's amazing how some ideas or realisations can be intelligent. I really like to see the work of other peoples. Of course my least favorite thing is the problem with people who use this world to make money but whitout those people maybe the artists can't have enough money to continue to product... So that's a bit paradoxal.

在藝術產業中，甚麼是你最喜歡和最不喜歡的事情?

我最喜歡的部分就是去發現其他藝術家不能創造出來的事情。讓一些想法實現是一件多麼美好的事情，我真的很喜歡看別人的作品。我最不喜歡的事情是有些人利用這個世界去賺錢，但是卻讓某些人(像是藝術家)沒有足夠的錢去持續創作。

8: Does the internet influence your creative work ? How ?

Yes of course the internet influence my creative work, it's really important to see what happends in the entire world. I use google reader to follow some blogs.

網際網路如何對你的創作產生影響呢?

網際網路對我的創作來說影響非常大，他可以幫助我去看到這個世界發生了哪些事情。我使用google reader追蹤很多部落格。

9: What is your typical day like ? What do you think first while you are working ? Could you describe your workflow ?

First I work during the night because I like to feel the tranquility of the night. Most people are sleeping, the streets are empty, there is no noise, I really like that, just feel there is nothing to do except create. A typical day is waking up a little bit later... It depends on the time but I usually go to see some exhibitions or just simple things that everybody does. I start to paint when everybody is sleeping. I do some canvas after some drawings studies, I work really quickly when I'm painting but I really take time to think before painting.

你怎麼度過你的一天呢?當你工作前的第一件事前是做甚麼?可不可以跟大家分享一下你的工作流程?

首先，我通常在深夜裡工作，因為我喜歡感受夜晚的寧靜。當大家幾乎都在睡覺的時候，街上空蕩蕩一點聲音都沒有，我真的超喜歡那個時候，有一種除了創作之外甚麼都不能做的感覺。一般來說，我通常比較晚起床，不過也不一定，要看當天情況如何。有時候我會去看展覽，或者做些小事。當大家睡覺的時候我開始畫畫。我在畫畫完之後會畫一些帆布畫。當我在畫畫的時候我的動作真的很快，但是在思考之前真的需要花一些時間。

10: What are your plans for the future ? Any creative work coming up or that you are currently working on ? That you are excited about ?

Yes I'm really excited about my new projects, I'm actually working on a serie of images on velvet. I can't tell more now but this will be more conceptual than what I'm doing at the moment. I'm also working on a big canvas of 4x5meters on the theme of “Apocalypse Saint Jean”. It will be exhibited in France.

你未來有甚麼計畫嗎?或者是你現在有哪些正在進行中的計畫?有沒有讓你很興奮的計畫呢??

有啊，我對我新的計畫很興奮。我正在絲絨上面做一系列的創作，我現在不能跟你說太多，但是這絕對比我現在在做的更具概念化。我現在也在做一個4 x 5公尺的帆布畫作，名為「Apocalypse Saint Jean」，即將會到法國展出。

有沒有哪些藝術家對你產生影響?或者是你有沒有常常逛哪些部落格或網站呢?

我從google reader上面觀看很多部落格，我真的很喜歡「iheartmyart」、「acidolatte」、「ffffound」等。我甚麼都看，包含攝影、雕塑、概念、影片。

11: What are your artistic influences and/or any blog or website that you visit often ?

I'm looking at a lot of blogs in google reader, I really like “iheartmyart”, “acidolatte”, “ffffound” etc... I take a look at everything, photography, sculpture, conceptual, video...

12: Thank you for the interview Lou ! Is there any advice tat you'd like to give and aspiring artist and designers who are working hard to grow professionally ?

You are welcome. Yes. Sometimes stop dreaming of doing the perfect creation and just try to do it !
